How You Can Help
Frances Foundation is currently collecting donations so that we can gather the necessary items for our Pop-up Cupboards to get on the streets. While we are getting busy building our non-profit, we are looking for donee’s who share our vision and believe we can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
FOOD DONATIONS
Teaming up with local grocery stores for healthy food donations.
LOCATION USAGE
Collaborating with churches, community centers and dialysis facilities for space to pop-up our cupboards.
VOLUNTEERS
Fill re-usable bags with healthy/perishable food and snacks as well as hygiene necessities.
EVENTS
Special give-away events for holidays.
Our Inspiration
Frances… a mother, wife, friend & confidant.
She left an imprint on the hearts of her family inspiring a love for community. Her son has been striving to continue this legacy through various charitable acts. Now the dream of having a foundation to honor his mother has come to fruition.
Compassion
Frances had a heart people. Showing love and compassion to those in need by being available when asked for help.
Community
Frances would open her door to the neighbourhood. The kind of generosity that creates a comradery in the community.
Strength
Frances had the ability to gather resources and share with everyone around her, regardless of personal hardships.
Authentic
Frances had a true sense of love and the spirit of giving in the most authentic way. Nurturing those less fortunate is a gift that we intend to pass on.
How We Got Started
Frances Foundation has been at work in the community before we were established as a 501C3 Nonprofit Organization. Here are a few examples of how we give back.
Feeding the hungry at a local kitchen.
Being on the board for those charities impacting our youth.
Collaborating with a local group to bring Christmas trees to our troops in need.
Sponsoring families for the Holidays.
Our Hope for Frances Foundation
Frances Foundation intends to help fill the gap in the more underserved communities.
We intend to be an “on the ground” presence in these areas by filling bags and delivering where anyone can get healthy snack packs, water, hygiene packs and other various essentials without any questions.
Frances Foundation will work with accessible locations where people feel comfortable being served. Our platform is immediate needs for our communities, therefore being in these locations bi-weekly with our pop-ups, would be the goal in order to keep a consistent presence with our fellow neighbors.
What Is Needed
We are working on gathering and maintaining an inventory of everyday necessities and items for the holidays. The following are items we are seeking through donations, sponsorships, and partnerships.
